People often respond to new information by saying only one or two words. Let us have a look at the following words:

Hot! Cool! Yay! Sweet! Fab! All right! Awesome!

All these words mena almost the same thing. People say them when they like what someone has said or something that has happened.

Another group of words is:
Crazy! Far Out! Wow! Wild! Gosh!

People may use these expressions when they are happy and surprised by what they learn, hear, or see. Most of these words are used when we hear surprising news that doesn’t make us happy. Notice that people may say "Wow!” when they hear either positive or negative news.
